A Computer Club for Mature Adults

The Bits and Bytes Computer Club is located at the Downtown Community Centre,  35 Weber Street West (corner of Ontario Street) in Kitchener. (Click for map).

The club, started in 1989, is dedicated to helping adults gain a better understanding about computers through small group, participant-paced learning. For more information, see About B&B.

NOTE: Effective August 23, 2016, you will need a Kitchener Group Card to participate in all free events taking place in City of Kitchener community centres.

Winter courses are now listed on the website.
Registration for Winter courses is now open.
You are encouraged to register early as some classes fill up quickly.
There is a limit of 8 students per class in most instances.

NEW COURSE: Windows 10 is being offered this Fall

There are three ways to register for courses offered by the club.
  1. on line at: Web reg
  2. by phone at (519) 741-2501
  3  in person at the Downtown Community Centre,
      Breithaupt Centre or Rockway Centre

Kitchener Group Card

Please Note: Effective August 23, 2016, in order to take part in any free activity at any City of Kitchener community centre, you will be required to have a Kitchener Group Card. A Kitchener Group Card can be purchased at any Kitchener community centre. Cost for those 55+ is $15.00.
If you have purchased a VIP card in the past year, you will receive a refund for the unused portion. This can be applied to the purchase of your Kitchener Group Card.
